We are a brick and mortar store located in Fremont, MI (Where they make Gerber Baby Food!) We offer a selection of fabrics ranging from Children's panels to Batik's and 108" wide fabrics. We sell notions, patterns and 18" Doll Clothes ( yes, they fit the AG dolls!). Our store is a pick up and drop off location for longarm quilting by Debra Becker. We are unique to our area because we offer Photo to Fabric transfers (putting your pictures to fabric), custom quilt labels, and custom quilt patterns. We offer Block of the months clubs and pre-cut fabric clubs (all you do is sit and sew your blocks together).
Custom Services We will use photos you bring into our store or emailed to us. We are able to transfer photos to an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of fabric. The fabric we use is a high quality photo-fabric and will not fade when you wash it (like some brands). If there are minor photo edits that need to be made to the image, it is done at no extra cost. There is a set up fee of $5 for every group of 10 photos, unless we receive your image "print ready". The turn around is usually a week but can be sooner if time permitting. Photo transfers Custom Quilt Labels Printed on the same fabric as our photo transfers, your labels will last as long as your quilt. We can make any size label up to a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet. You will be charged for a full sheet, so it might be a good idea to get multiple labels made at one time. The sky is the limit when it comes to labels. It can range from "Made with love by..." to a full story with photos! Just let us know what size and basic design requests (color, font style, size) and we will take it from there! Again, there will be a week turn around and we can except any image file, or bring in the actual photo (if applicable). |
Custom Quilt Patterns
Every have an idea of a quilt in your head but not sure how much fabric you need. or the idea of drawing something out is too much? Come into the store and we will personally work with you and help draw out your custom quilt pattern. Can't make it in, email us your request and we can work from there! We use a design program on our computer that will allow us to print off the quilt, pattern pieces, paper pieces, yardage and appliques! There are a few levels of patterns we offer. If you are an experienced quilter and just need some block sizes and yardage the pattern is free with purchase of fabric, other wise there is a printing fee. If you need more of a "pattern" then it starts at $10 (per hour) for each pattern. Most patterns take about an hour to make, if there are more "detailed" work like custom paper piecing or custom appliques the additional hourly rate will be applied appropriately. A full pattern consists on a color print out of the quilt, written instructions of quilt construction, yardage, and additional patterns (paper-piecing/appliques)

For those of you not familiar with Accuquilt, this is a die cut machine designed to cut quilt blocks ranging from 2" - 12". This is really handy if you have many stars or "triangle" pieces to sew. We do offer block of the month clubs which are cut from this machine. We will also let you come in and use our machine for an hourly cost as well. This is a great way for people to cut their block pieces all in uniform and with no strain on your hands and wrists.
